Do you qualify for reduced membership dues?
Making Membership Affordable
Society leadership works hard to control the cost of membership dues. They have developed a variety of dues credits available to qualified members to help keep membership affordable.
Successful lobbying efforts, patient advocacy, business support and
timely communication. These are just a few examples of the value Wisconsin
Medical Society (Society) members get from their dues dollars. And
while these benefits make clear the value of Society membership, saving
money is the icing on the cake. See if you qualify for one of these
discounts.
Young physician dues category
Physicians in their first four years of practice benefit from the Society’s “Young Physician” dues category. This program provides significant reduction in membership dues for those physicians just completing their residency or government obligation following their residency.
For physicians who begin a fellowship either in conjunction with their residency, or immediately following completion of residency, their "first four years in practice" is based on the date they completed their fellowship. For physicians who begin a fellowship more than one year after completion of residency, their "first four years in practice" is based upon completion of their
residency.
